Me and some buddies going fishing. None of us have ever been there. Where should we eat and drink?

No where worth a crap to eat. Go to place to eat is Hurricane Hole. But are only open during the Spring and Summer. You are better off just cooking and hitting up Arties or Pirate Island Daiquiri. The owner is a trip.

This time of year there's not much going on down there. Only restaurant open is the Starfish and its meh. Sureway (grocery store) is open until 6:30 so you can grab some stuff to cook there. Artie's for drinkin and I believe they have food there. Make sure you head north to fish. Around the island will be slim pickins util spring time. They are killin the trout and reds around Leeville and Golden Meadow right now, so I would consider going there as opposed to fishing the island.

I'm going to hijack for a second and ask if you've had any luck in mobile bay since the temperature dropped, because I'm not catching shite in the delta or on the eastern shore

Got to Bridgeside. Get a Cheeseburger Poboy with bacon and thank me later. I never leave the Island without one.
