You don't realize until you sit in a cab how big their blind spots are. You could fit almost two car lengths into a blind spot on certain types of tractors. Not to mention it takes almost two football fields to stop a fully loaded truck when going 65 mph

Okay, then stay out of the left lane. You shouldn't be passing in those things anyway

The thread title isn't

The smartest things you do
It's the shitty things you do

Plus it would result in a 20mph interstate impact. Could be horrible but the damage shouldn't be that catastrophic.

I hope you don't have a license. A car going 90 and hitting one going 70 would cause a major incident, not even counting if anyone else is on the road behind or coming the opposite direction. A car hitting anything stationary at 20 MPH will make some serious damage. Good luck trying to control either car during a wreck at the mentioned speed.

Can't think of something shitty I do on a regular basis. There was this one time my brother and I went to the adult acts strip club on Bourbon St for a bachelor party. For those who know what I'm talking about, it's a shithole. Old woman takes our drink order, 2 beers, and comes back and gives me a tab for $18. I told her that I didn't want the beer because she's ripping me off. She threatened to call the bouncer, etc. So I gave her $20 and told her just give me the beers. I immediately went into the bathroom and my brother followed suit. When we got in the bathroom we fricked everything up that we could break in our drunken stupor in about a minute. Pulled the sink off the wall, tore off the stall door, broke the water lines to the toilet, pissed everywhere, etc. It was a shite show in there. We calmly walked out the door and scooted for the door.

I applaud your honesty, our lawyers will be in touch with Chicken to get your info. See you soon. lol

No seriously I would have been pissed too.

I got the shot trick done to me one night at Razoo's. I was asked if I wanted "A" shot. Girl gave me one, then one in her tits, then like two more all in one motion. As soon as she was done, she demanded $40. I had a $20 in my pocket I gave her that and told her to get the manager. Then just walked out the door.

Btw, the semis in the left lane endanger lives, the a-hole going 90 endangers lives. At least napoleon is trying to take some preventative measures. Plus, unless you murder or steal...I don't judge.

No matter where you're going, it's not that important. People really underestimate how dangerous a vehicle is.

I know right?

Darth just likes to get on people, because his haters aren't all over him in this thread like they normally are. And Dan, well Dan just sucks.

I get frustrated sometimes too when trucks will temporarily block both lanes but there are many more important factors involved than just wasting a minute of your time. Trucks have pickup/delivery times that are usually critical, all use cruise control to save fuel (which some pay for themselves), and different trucks have different speed governors. If one truck stops at 65 and another 70, why would he sit behind the other in the right lane?

Just trying to educate some of you on trucks and how to avoid being identified by your dental records. Those guys have really tough jobs and care a lot more about not hurting anyone than wasting a few minutes of your day

Riverside towing damaged my truck so bad that my rear tire and brake broke off at 70+ mph. I still got over two lanes and stopped. Without incident.

People who get blow outs and then wreck, or rear ended then lose control are already very very shitty drivers.

I have been rear ended before. They hit, you feel it, you release the gas, and apply brake if you are still heading straight.

In the god damn incident being refereed to was a rear impact of a car ding 90 by a car doing 70. The damage would be less than the impact of a stopped car being hit by a car doing 25mph.

So stop knighting and GTFO.

Okay, pass and get back over.

My issue is the ones that cruise in the left lane (where I live the highways all have three+ lanes) and never get over.

I'm sorry your a trucker and never get to see your family.

I'm not just "getting on" people. As I and Ed have tried to point out to you, the roads are not a place to play games. People die on the roads every day and probably 99% of them die over someone doing something stupid.

Totally understandable, if it's a company truck call their office and let someone know. The driver will likely will be bitched out as soon as you hang up the phone

Ditto, I'm not trying to come off as a prick, I just always try to fill in people who aren't knowledgable on the subject and pass it on.

Please stop with this absurd line of trying to downplay the severity of two cars doing 70+ MPH colliding on a crowded highway. The 25 MPH difference between the two cars would not mean it was the equitant of a 25 mph accident. That's just stupid.

When the two cars come together, one at 90 MPH the other at 70 MPH, you're left with two cars going over 70 mph that are now out of control. Add in other cars (like the one in the RH lane in your example) and you've got a horrible three (or more) car pile-up with lord only knows how many dead or injured.

holy shite over a 9$ beer?

wtf psycho

I was extremely intoxicated and maybe under the influence of bachelor party drugs. I wasn't mad about the beer as much as how the woman handled the situation and called the bouncers on me, yelled at me, etc. Doesn't make it right, but hey it happened.
