Rds, I'll take a freezing close out inspection over doing cad work at a desk. I bitch about going out in the morning, but I enjoy it come the end of the day.

hmm. interesting to hear. I've only had their small batch series (#'s 2, 7, 5) and thought they were damn good. perhaps their normal offering suck. completely possible.

Not sure what Freetail bottles you're looking for, but I have some La Muerta and Peche'cus that I would be willing to trade.

Only one I've had was their smoked dopplebock. I think it was number 5 and the same one I sent to the jamboree this past year. I thought it was decent. Nothing ground breaking, but solid. Packaging made it seem better than it was.

what is this? I have La Muerta taken care of. As good as it is I don't have much use for stouts that aren't barrel aged.

It's their Witicus beer aged in wine barrels with peaches...

From what I was told, they only had around 300 bottles of it so they didn't do a full release day like usual. They just put out 50 or so bottles at random times until it was gone. I lucked in to stopping there while I was in town for work and they still had a couple bottles available.

Yea, I'm not the biggest fan of Ranger Creek. Their regular lineup is underwhelming and they had some oxidation issues with #'s 3 and 4 of their small batch series. That pretty much turned me off for them.

Their newest one is a Sweet Potato Stout which I thought was a good beer.

I want to schedule beer trips to Denver and Portland just to go beernerding with you and Jax.

Btw, I may have a few barrel aged beers you may be interested in. I'll send you an email tomorrow about those beers and Peche'cus.
