I doubt they believe there is a conspiracy to take down Remington, so there must be a reason that they think the 700 is gtg. I assume that they just believe Remington's mod fixed the problem? You're a younger guy, so I'd guess your 700 is newer, unless it was handed down from dad/grandad?

I'd like to know the date. Mine is from 1989 and all it does is kill stuff on purpose.
