Hey, let's try a football analogy.
When a school is found guilty of enticing students to play football for their school with gifts, and others are playing by the rules, we call that cheating and unfair, right?
Well, what if the NCAA were to say that it's OK for say all SEC East schools to do it, but not the SEC West schools. Is that fair? Does that not create an unfair competitive advantage? Would not the rich get richer and poor get poorer until one day, all the SEC West schools just abandoned their football programs entirely because what's the point?
Do you not understand that when a community's government prefers one over the other and gives them gifts that locals don't enjoy that it's a screw job that will ultimately cause locals to say to themselves "why would I risk everything to compete in an unfair playing field that my government got in bed with, and especially when my own neighbors won't even stand up for me, and think anyone who does, or objects to the concept is most probably a socialist?" Why would a local without the backing from huge banks, or even their own government, or basic loyalty from their neighbors do that? Truth is, in our day, it's a very courageous person who does, knowing full well what he's getting into before he starts.

A good enough product is supported no matter what..You think if local Joe the paddle maker was offered a deal with Bass Pro he would turn it down..?
