I've seen Dural and I think he's going to be solid. This offense is gonna have some growing pains. LF is coming but damn our WR depth is the worst I've seen in the miles era.

Way to early to say that. They have a whole spring, summer and fall camp to get better plus we are bringing in Quinn, Voohries and maybe Chi.
If you are expecting another OBJ and Landry then yes, it'll be down. Realistically though, I won't count out Diarse, Peterson Smith and Washington. We didn't need our TE's this past season but I think that'll change this year.

Time will tell...

Dural is going to be the #1 WR.

But, DeSean Smith and the TEs should have a bigger role. Young QB and inexperienced WRs. And Smith could very well be our best pass catcher on the roster next year.

Plus, we have Quinn coming in and hopefully Dupre. Both would see PT.

Darkhorse for me is Kevin Spears.

Not really worried about our WRs.

How many threads are going to ask about our WR depth?

I don't think 2007 was much better (with regards to available WRs).

We had just lost our two 2006 starters (Bowe and Davis, who were both 1st Round NFL draft picks). I do acknowledge that Doucet was more proven as the lone returnee than Dural is for 2014.

But other than Doucet?
- Demetrius Byrd (unknown commodity from JUCO)
- Lafell (caught only 5 balls in 2006)
- Chris Mitchell (2 catches)
- Jared Mitchell (1 catch)
- Terrence Toliver (unproven true freshman)

Yes, it looks better on paper than 2014 - but the differences are not that great. The main advantage for 2007 is that they had an experienced senior QB to get them the ball.

In fall camp everyone was saying Diarse was catching everything. Now he barely gets a mention.

Receivers will not be an issue. Replacing Mettenberger adequately is. It won't matter who the receivers are if our quarterback isn't able to get them the ball.

Our depth is fine. Just inexperienced. We will be in the playoff.

Holy Cross head coach said that Kevin Spears is 220 right now. If that is true omg he will be tough on the field. A 6'3" 220 lbs wr hope he takes that leap and runs wit it

I've been saying this. It's probably the biggest concern that everyone seems to be overlooking. Dural hasn't proven anything yet and we have zero clue what we have behind even that. I know that we haven't been landing any big WR recruits between landry/beckham until this year. I mean, we landed some solid prospects but none that ever looked elite...

It wouldn't shock me if someone like Quinn and if we land Dupre come in and pass everyone up on the chart.
