IFA Redfish Tour La.

Looking for a partner to fish the IFA Redfish Tour Louisiana division and championship.Check out the website for specifics.I am looking for a partner that can sight cast well and can help me scout.Preferably someone in the New Orleans area with his own boat.

My BIL is badass sight fisherman and has a trick daddy Hells Bay (Gordon) Waterman. He showed me pictures of them just last weekend and they caught a ton of monsters. Said it was the trip of a lifetime. They doubled up twice, fly on the front platform him casting and poling off of the back, with both fish over 20 lbs each time.

So the OP has been a member almost a year. Has two posts. The first post he is trying to sell a trolling motor and leaves his phone number. The second post he asks for a fishing partner and then gets offline.

No I am looking for someone to ride with me.I have the boat and have been fishing the IFA for a number of years.My last partner just built a new house and has a baby on the way so cant tournament fish anymore.just looking for someone to fish 3 events with me.Definitely not trying to scam anyone.Thanks.

I'll give you an opinion having fished both IFA and LASS. If you don't have a solid/committed partner I would not fish the IFA. You cannot fish the IFA C-ship unless you have fished two regional events with the same partner, you'll miss out on the C-ship if your partner is not committed.
The LASS allows alternates in tourney's including the C-ship. They are both very well run and for the most part you fish against some of the same people.
