So much for the 'homerun' - this hire is mediocre. He doesn't stay anywhere long and his best season of line production was the luck of a senior-laden group he mostly inherited. There is a reason Auburn fired him, as line production dropped off dramatically. Plus, he worked with Crowton... yeah, THAT Crowton. The risk / reward of giving a guy like Mawae a shot is a much better investment, as there is not much difference in potential downside.
