Shoes are good, and I did just start back running distance. I play indoor soccer and flag football so I didn't just start back running, just the distance part.

I run daily and have had similar issues along with others, could be

stress fracture/shin splints
strained ligament
achilles
strained calf
turf toe

Only real remedy for all of them is the tried and true R.I.C.E

The more you run the better it'll get, as long as your technique is sound.

ETA: I am a doctor, but I am not licensed or registered in any capacity, and I have never been to medical school. All about who you know right

I will tell you what I used to tell my team guys. If it hurts that bad, quit doing that. Distance running is tough on the body. Work into it slowly. Also, and I can't stress this enough, just because shoes are new and/or quality doesn't mean they are right for YOU. Go to a runners store and get their suggestions. I ended up going to a sports ortho with debilitating leg pain. Guy put me in custom orthotics and the pain went away the next day. I couldn't believe it.
