Looking for a little squirrel/dove gun for my kids, but haven't seen any pumps or autos in 410. Any suggestions? Kids are still pretty small so the 12 or 20 ga is out of the question for now

my little cousin has a mossberg pump .410 that my son borrowed for a bit
its really short and light, and almost no kick

Why do you want an auto .410 for young kids? Just from a safety factor, you might want to consider a single shot or pump.

I guess a pump would be fine. I really just need a youth model, repeating 410. I have a crack barrel already. Not a fan of the hammer. I saw an 1187 in 410 once at a gun show, but I don't think it's made anymore.

Franchi makes the 48AL in 28 gauge. Its a bit pricey but works well with light field loads and is very pretty.

single shot
A single shot with a hammer is a dangerous gun to give to a child, and auto or pump is much safer

I was taught to keep it open until I committed to a target. Close, hammer, swing... Having one shot will teach you to shoot, not spray and pray
