Possibly. That would free up almost 3x as much as we would need for the picks on top of the $2.5m or whatever we already have. If they get a DT that they like a lot in the draft, I could see them letting Bunkley go and carrying over the space into next season.

I always just assume in order to keep the draft pick, he is bumping someone else making similar money so it works itself out.

I definitely think the smart move would be to draft someone at that spot, and guard and linebacker also, if they have a good BPA value. Those are 3 spot we need to get younger and cheaper.
