I guess we'll see some walk-on/scout team RB's in the spring game. And a lot of passing.
eta: Do we have any "ATH" recruits that could step in as RB to provide depth?

This is where Jeryl Brazil being such a knucklehead could come back to bite us in the arse.

Well, we know Magee will likely be wearing a non-contact jersey, but then who will the defense be able to tackle?

I've really seen it all.

Looking at the roster and its crazy to think we could have only one scholarship RB for spring practices

I was actually gonna say Jarrett Fobbs, because he practiced some at RB at one point. but his bio makes it seem like he's done (though he's listed as a jr.)

Jarrett Fobbs,
Honestly wouldn't surprise me to see him take some RB snaps in spring game

Looking at his bio on lsusports and it seems he finished his eligibility

this is in Fobbs' bio, which was updated on 1/10/14

I know for a fact that Fobbs was in the game when we were kneeling the ball at the end.
ETA: Wow didn't realize you were saying his eligibility was up. That seemed fast. Maybe that's why he was in the game then.

my guess: Hilliard stays, and Melvin Jones gets some snaps at TB in the spring as well. that's all I got...

Could Bolden possibly see some snaps at RB? I've really seen it all.
For an extra body in spring practice? For the purpose of running a practice the way it needs to be run?
Would that would be the most outrageous thing in the world? Because Bolden needs to get his snaps after Jennings and Rivers and Rettig and Harris. We need five QBs and one RB?

Bolden isn't a damn RB. He's a clip board holder.

I could see a DB switching over to offense before I see Bolden moving to RB. Even for just the Spring.

You are correct. Who is the lad?

Bolden as a practice fill-in ... OK, bad idea. I just looked at his PSU stats. He hardly ran the ball at all.
And, Doc, he's a damn fine clipboard bolder.
