I work in a hospital that makes it mandatory for ALL hospital employees to get the shot or they are fired.

No way you are really a hospital administrator and didn't know the rising trend of hospitals requiring the shot from all their employees(regardless if they are in direct patient care or not).

i did not say other places dont require it, i know several that do.. with that said, ours DOES NOT. We do statistics every year on those that volunteer to get it, only around 45% of employees here get it. I repeat we ARE NOT required to get the shot here! I am aware of the rising trend or requiring it and know plenty that do, but we do not

My full time job doesn't require it....second job does.
I work with 2 nurses that refuse to get it. But they are also the same women that believe in palm readings and magic crystals and new age shite like that so I ignore them when they go on their rants.

Sure there is. He claims to work in admin, so maybe he knows they need a revenue booster. Walla... tell people to not get a flu shot. They take your advice, get REALLY sick and have to be admitted to the hospital. It's a revenue boosting scheme.
