What would be the best personal card for points right now? I’m gonna be charging about $80,000 in the next year for a group trip that I’m planning.

Woah!

I would suggest the Chase Sapphire Reserve. You're going to get 3 points for every dollar you spend on travel-related expenses. You'll also receive a 50,000-point sign-up bonus.

So between your charges and the bonus, you should have around 300,000 points after paying for the trip. You can transfer those points to various airlines and actually be able to travel around the world in first class.

There are also many perks with the Reserve card (lounge access, trip insurance, $300 travel credit, TSA/Global entry reimbursement).

About $28k will be spent with Southwest booking flights. This is a trip to Disney so other large portions will be charged to them. About 40k for tickets and about 20K for rooms. Would that info change the cards you suggest?
