Screw that shite. 5k-6k change interval on $19 oil change with tire rotation included. Yes my mechanic said that the 3k rule is horseshite unless you race or drive like a maniac.

Yes.
My best friend who is big into racing changes his oil in his street cars every 10,000 miles. Says he could go longer than that with no issues, it's true. Changing your oil soon is just all marketing. $$$$
I do mine every 8-10k.
