LSU-Oklahoma game 1 in 2013 super regional. 2 of the best pitchers in the nation going at it for 8 or 9 innings before anyone could get baserunners into scoring position. plus nola had one of the greatest postseason performances in history
But baseball wise, I have to go with Game 2 of LSU vs Irvine in 2008

Florida 2007
Never before or since have I left a game feeling exhausted from the tension of simply just watching a football game.
It was the perfect storm. Great LSU team playing the defending national champ. A VERY muggy and almost uncomfortable October night. As physical a game on the field as I have ever seen. LSU trailing virtually the entire game and having to claw and scratch just to keep up. 4th down after 4th down knowing that the failure to convert just one could have given UF the game. The 2nd quarter announcment that USC had lost and the entire crowd erupting knowing that a win was going to put LSU at #1 in the regular season for the first time in forever. I don't know if I'll ever see another game in person that matches that night.

Away: Bama '11- Sitting in a Bama section and it was intense from start to finish. Greatest game of Defensive Football I ever saw. Had a playoff like feel, bc at the time it appeared the loser would be out of the discussion.
Home: Bama '12- You could feel walking in that we had at least a puncher's chance. Home Game/ Night Game. Just emotional from start to finish, Bama jumps out to 14-3 lead at the half. Mostly self inflicted by LSU, (Copeland's Personal Foul that lead to us settling for a FG & Piss Poor Defense at the end of the 1st Half)... You could feel it slipping away..
Then here came the Tigers, TD to make it 14-10, then a Onside Kick that we didn't need to run, went bad, the Defense forced a TO... The Jarvis Landry catching a TD to take the lead... For about 45 mins in real time the whole world was right, and it appeared that Miles was going to exorcise the Demons of 1/9... It felt like the faithful, were just trying to will it...
Then the missed FG, and you know what happened...
That one hurt me more than 1/9, bc I felt that we had the better team that night and for it to end like that was just a curel joke from the football gods... To quote Denny Green, "They were who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook". A part of me will never get over that one.
I have never been more mentally exhusted than after that 2012 Bama game, and don't think I ever will, because I will never care that much about a LSU game again. A small bit of my capasity to care, went down with the Tigers that night.

Have to agree....despite the low score the game was incredibly exciting and tense. Getting to walk out of BDS on the winning side of that one was awesome! Never seen such sad faces ....until 1/9!

Bama 12'. Everyone wanted that game so bad, plus winning it would have allowed us to control our destiny to Atlanta.

I'll go with
OM 2003; SEC on the line, NC implications, ELI...
Auburn 2007; last few minutes and ending was insane and
Bama 2008; Just felt electric, even with the pick before the blocked field goal then OT and the next pick.
ETA: Thanks for reminding me, 4orlsu- Adding 1972, OM clock magic game!!! Bert Jones![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbow.gif)
