Long never liked Petrino because he wouldn't so everything he asked.
Petrino was never in danger of being fired, but once it came out about him hiring the chick there wasn't much he could do.

ok, so long knew he was banging horseface (which even as a woman i don't care, truly don't, men are pigs yadda yadda
