Show me again how it's good to eat grains when they spike your insulin like a goddamn candy bar?

Show me how much grain humans have eaten relative to their tenure on this planet (say ~200000 years in modern form). What, maybe 5% of that time have humans been cultivating grain.

If they 'food pyramid' diet recommended by these doctors and nutritionists is so healthy, then why are so many Americans sick and obese?

Are you trying to say that anyone who questions the status quo is an idiot?

I think you are. That is known in intelligent circles an ad-hominem attack. You can go google that and figure out why it makes you look foolish and damages your argument. Well, that and your appeal to authority.

All I know is eating low carb has resulted in me being healthier and feeling better. Numbers better. Fat lower. And I eat all the bacon, butter, red meat, cheese, and eggs I can.

I don't feel hungry between meals, my blood sugar is stable. At 46 I'm not any prescription meds, unlike so many of my peers who adhere to the 'healthy diet' you point out in your link to obvious propaganda.

If you can't understand why people who are making a fortune off of your ignorance would lie to you so they could continue to milk that ignorance, then I pity you.

It may be that you're someone who's benefiting directly from the high-sugar, high carb, low fat poison diet? Sell pharmaceuticals? Medical devices? Nutritionist? Doctor? Nurse? Pharmacist? Health insurance worker? .Gov worker?

Come on, fess up.

Anybody with a brain can turn off the propaganda, do their own research, then figure out the optimum diet for themselves.

Believing something because it comes from the mainstream media, without doing any further research, belies either your ignorance or the fact that you are a shill for something deadly.

No thanks.

Keep eating your hydrogenated oils, hfcs, refined flours, and low fat foods and see where you end up; and how many prescriptions you'll need to be on just to function at a low level.

After all, that's what most people do, right?

Look around you and your own eyes will tell you the truth.
