Seems like top brands are Dewalt, Mikita, Rigid, Milwakee, and Porter Cable. I have a Porter Cable dual-action polisher that I use on cars and my friend who has detailed professionally for 7 years uses his almost daily. It still hasn't stopped running. It's funny you mention that brand because it didn't even slip my mind.
I guess I just need to go to Lowe's or HD and see which ones have the best features.

Like I said. The Home Depot in Denham Springs had a sale with the Dewalt set that you also get a free 129 dollar bare tool. This is probably going on in all the stores.
