Most of those I would just buy the corded version. The M12 is supposedly the best around the home drills (small tasks).

I used to run a fence company in college. I bought several brands over the course of a few years - rigid, porter cable, mikita, etc. I now only have dewalt. Nothing but yellow and have renovated multiple houses with my dewalts tools.
However, I heard Home Depot bought dewalt. Don't know about the newer stuff.
