Kid looks slow and unathletic in those highlights. I trust this staff, but I wasn't impressed.

Not impressed. Dude is slow and going against guys who weigh 100 lbs less than him. Guys his size would handle him pretty easily.

Not true. He was handling All American linemen at the Army All American game too.

Thank God you don't evaluate talent for LSU.

I had concerns after I saw this film when it was originally posted. Seems to play high. Also looked liked an OL running around. Looked like Davenport IMO. But my opinion changed after this week based on his performance against some of the best around the country. I'll admit I was wrong. That's why I'm not on staff.

I was about to type the exact same thing. That highlight doesn't do him justice because of the competition. Kid was nails at the AAA game.

Was the weight listed at the AAAG his current weight? Big difference if so, and if you people watched that game and still think he's slow and would get handled, you're on Walter White meth.

I thought the same thing when these highlights were first posted a couple weeks ago, but he was one of the top performers in San Antonio last week.

Yep, he was running stunts and getting pressure at the Army AA game, which it really impressive considering his size

Let me point out one thing to you guys. When watching video you need look at how the player tackles and his pad level (Valentine plays too high). Also, watch the aggression of the player. In book Valentine is OK but he did not make a tackle in this highlight. We need people who tackle with authority and take good angles.

We need G-Mac and Speaks !! They get to the ball are tackle. Needs some LBs too. Garrett is good, but we need more...We need to show Kenny Young how bad we want and need him.

Also, go after the kid from East St. John (Darren Williams 6'4 240). Check on his ability to tackle and make plays. We need playmakers up front!

Valentine is a load but question his ability to make tackles. Hope, I am wrong!

JMHO, but I think he would be a great run stopper which would be a great asset to the Chavis system.

He plays high but the kid was taken on double and triple teams the whole film. Those weren't little kids he is just a mammoth of a man. I think he will be a great get for us. if he can clog up holes and get penetration he will allow our book ends and Linebackers to wreak havoc.

Bennie Logan and Michael Brokers didn't have high tackle numbers but they allowed Kiki and Minter to do big things. This year we lacked penetration at all. I think with some grooming TV can play this year. Give him 4 games and a full camp.

Is he an EE?
