How many teams in the country had a 3,000 yd passer, a 1,400 yd rusher, and two 1,000 yd receivers?

damn everybody forgot about the drive by jenning's already. I want to see what the kid does when his back against the wall and we need to drive the field to win the game. That's the difference between being 12-0 and 10-2.

Not writing him off.

CLM should have given him some snaps during the year to help him develop.

Collin cowherd just had a segment on his radio show where he professed college football is changing before our eyes, put your best athlete at quarterback, blah blah blah. If this were the case, I believe LSU is in a great position to adapt with AJ/Harris at the realm. You can't tell me that Trevor Knight is a better athlete than either of the two.

Stoops >>> Miles ...... Duh.....
Love this shite

2009: Stoops 8-5, Miles 9-4
2010: Stoops 12-2, Miles 11-2
2011: Stoops 10-3, Miles 13-1
2012: Stoops 10-3, Miles 10-3
2013: Stoops 11-2, Miles 10-3

Last 5 years: Stoops 51-15 (77.3%), Miles 53-13 (80.3%)
Stoops at OU: 160–39 (80.4%)
Miles at LSU: 95–24 (79.8%)

Stoops - BIG XII, Miles - SEC

did you noticed the marked improvement of Mett after one offseason with the OC who is known for developing QB's? Do you think that was a fluke or could it be possible that Cameron will be able to develop the next QB's, who by the way, just so happen to be 3 very talented players?

I think this is a key point for Jenning's development next season.

The thing OU did well was throwing those passes into the teeth of the blitz that were short and underneath neutralizing that rush a little bit.
OU defense, even undersized, was able to neutralize the Bama offense despite being outgained. Getting pressure with a small dline without having to blitz every down helped as well.

The thing that concerns me is LSU has sacrificed size on defense and Bama still looks like monsters compared to what we are sending out there. The key next year for Bama is finding that QB game manager that doesn't make mistakes because the WR's and RB's (skill) they bring back is frightening. Still have to replace a few oline starters but I'm thinking Fournette might be 4th or 5th string had he chosen the Tide with Yeldon, Drake, Henry etc and guys like Dee Hart that can't even crack the depth chart.

You be ignorant....
Oh and 80% over 15 years is impressive, also hating on Big 12 because of what they are currently is insane, much of 2000's OU and Texas were premier teams in the Nation. Stoops gets a lot of shite but if Miles is still producing at an 80% clip and in the National title picture yearly 15 years into his tenure they better erect a statue.

Don't look now, but he is all that 10 years in - yet you still denigrate. When 15 yrs comes you'll be pointing to 20. Kind of proves my point. Thanks!

It's proven that if LSU has a good OC who can develop a QB that we have a potent offense

The future is fine. I applaud Les for protecting the young QB with a solid run game. I'm sure he wanted Landry and Beckham to have a ton of catches in their final game. However, getting the win was more important. Some people are still crying, even after a win. Against Arky, everyone thought Jennings was super, now he can't do anything correct...geesh.

you have this typical "if he isn't SEC then his stats are diminished attitude" t
The ignorant part is because you couldn't tell sarcasm to begin with, facts actually back up Stoops as being one of the best in the country as well.

The reality is that nobody knows the future. We can only discuss needs. That is what recruiting and coaching is for.

This team needs some more big bodies and playmakers. Look at 2011. Big,fast bodies in the trenches and playmakers on both offense and defense.

Right now, based on what we have, I would think at 10-2 regular season is within reach.
Potential Losses are: Wisconsin(Semi-Neutral, First Game), Florida(Road), Auburn(Road), Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Texas A&M(Road, very short week) and Arkansas(Road). IMO we will be favored in only 8-9 games.

Katy I can remember when Oklahoma had the wish bone and everybody went that way until the cure was found and it passed away !This this modern (best yet) will pass away when it is discovered that when you lose your your qb you lose your game and maybe your season !
