Nothing but the best to Big Freak, but I see another Sam Montgomery in the making. You gotta do what you gotta do to provide for your daughter, but he would've been much better off coming back for one more year to try to sniff his potential.

Good luck to him in the NFL.

I trust he sat down with NFL people and looked at his draft grade and if he was in the top 4 rounds, then he is probably not going to be able to increase his draft stock much more. He has a little one that he has to provide for so this move is understandable.

For all you that are on here talking shite about him, step back from your emotions and actually look at who you are talking about. He was the leader of our defense this year along with Barrow. A defense that lost 8 starters to the NFL and had to fill holes with a lot of youth. Look at how that defense played early in the season compared to the back end of the season and you saw improvement. While that is generally a reflection of coaching, it is also a reflection of on field leadership, which Freak provided this year for that defense. Freak played hard for 3 years, and was a key piece in the defense for all three. Show him some love. He's a tiger. Always was, and always will be.

I can't believe so many people are bummed about Anthony entering the draft. He was good ambassador to LSU, but he lost his "freak" status after these past two seasons. Best of luck to him, but I'm excited for a healthier Herron and a non lardass Gilmore
