Look for the trend to continue. I only see Lsu going up from here.

Great Job by Miles.
Makes me feel slightly better giving TAF that 20% donation increase with 4 digits in the amount.
Just win

My first take on this was "this is somewhat unfair because they play more games today than they used to. What if you reverse this and look at losses?" I looked at our record going back to Huey Long and looked at the non-wins (losses or ties). If you look at streaks of 3 or more years where we have had 3 such blemishes or less on our records, there have been only a few such streaks.
1935-1937 (3 years)
1968-1973 (6 years)
1985-1987 (3 years)
2003-2007 (5 years)
2010-2013 (4 years)
So even by this method, LSU football is still doing quite well historically though perhaps not as much better than other periods if you look at win totals alone as the original poster does. Basically, this method gives the old school Tigers a bit of love too.

I don't necessarily take pleasure in being the wet blanket, but Les Miles has had the most consecutive seasons of at least 13 games in LSU history as well.

Here's a research project for somebody arguing in this thread...I'm working and too busy.
What are the records of other coaches at other schools over this same 4 year time frame?
Are there any others than Saban at Alabama that can beat Miles record during this 4 year period?

Only us and bama have had 4 consecutive 10 win seasons with the same amount of conference championships in the time frame. I'd say we are doing pretty damn good for ourselves.

we play in the hardest division in college football. 10 wins is good

Too bad it's been squandered. Good point.
