MSB sure does have a nice way of piling on someone with a different opinion. Over 2 years past the outrage, but you still have the "I hate Paterno more than you!" idiots. I think you perpetuate just as much stupidity as the "Paterno people" that helped push BO'B away.
That being said, I am a Penn State fan, and I will continue to support the school and it's sports programs, regardless of if their football coach has ties. I want the coach to emphasize academics and hard work, and I couldn't give a crap less if there are names on the backs of jerseys.
Any coach at Alabama will draw comparisons to Bryant. Same with FSU/Bowden, OSU/Woody, Michigan/Bo. And the same with PSU and Paterno. To think otherwise is foolish. I hope the next Penn State football coach will get a fair shake from those of us who have been fans our entire lives. Some PSU fans need to grow the hell up (and I have plenty in mind), and some other college football fans need to do the same. Examples of the latter can be found in this very thread.

Maybe you're different, but I tend to have an unending hatred not only for pedophiles, but for people who aid and abet pedophiles.
I don't care if they're legendary college football coaches or the fricking Archbishop of Boston... frick'em. frick'em all.
