Will a single actual musical instrument be played during a New Year' s special..

I've watched all the major network New Year's Eve specials and haven't seen a single "musical act" play an instrument so far. Do they no longer have any bands playing at the New Year's Eve specials?

I don't care really "care" at all. It just illustrates how music is complete dog s### now. I just listened to Carson Daly rave on and on about Beyonce and Miley Cirus's "albums of the year". Truly shows you how popular music has fallen completely off the face of the earth. Music has NEVER.....EVER been as bad as it is now and has been the last 15 years. .
