I think he'll restructure his contract for OL just so he won't get sacked as much as he did like yesterday.

This. It's hard to have a good game when someone on the other team is waiting for you in the backfield on every other passing play.

Teams have to be built through the draft and "suplemented" by free agency. Saints were successful in the early Payton tenure because they were finding gems and building on the cheap. Now these guys are all vets and trying to get paid. That's why this team is on the slow decline. Its time to cut bait, implement the "New England" covenant, and obtain a good 10-12 draft picks

I would say True and False. True in that he ate up money we could have given offensive linemen. False in that if we cut his take, Moore should receive Saintsation pay

Brees is going to take a serious tumble in public support if he doesn't do what needs to be done to help his team win.

Restructure his contract, he'll get all his money, and we can get some decent WR's and linemen to help out this offense

Probably, which is ridiculous.

But at the end of the day, he'll restructure without actually losing any money, and everyone will get what they want.

Um no.

Hawthorne is probably the most disappointing player on this defense to me.

Jordan is my MVP.
Or Vaccaro.

IMO, Bushrod wasn't worth the money we'd have to pay him with the tag. Was he better than Charles Brown or Armstead? Absolutely. But not worth what the tag would've cost.

Agreed. The tag for Bushrod would have been close to $10 mil. He isn't even worth what he is getting paid now much less $10 mil.
