I'm not done with the season. As much as I hate losing, if the team fixes issues from it (real long term change), then it helps sooth the pain.
If we can't nut up and win this coming Sunday in the biggest game of the year to date, then I really don't want them in the playoffs, because if this past Sunday didn't wake them up, then we're just going to get embarrassed on the road in the playoffs.
That's the only thing that came to mind. That may be the dumbest thing you've ever posted. Where is that guy who was sucking you and Chad off? I hope he reads this
On second read, you have to be trolling. I've never seen you in such a negative mood. I know you don't really mean what you said. If you honestly meant that, you've lost all credibility as a ST poster.

Ithink the Saints if they are playing with a chip on there shoulder can beat any team any time any where

Same here. This team has some major flaws that will hinder its postseason success. Inability to run the ball, a poor offensive line, poor special teams, and a streaky offense will result in a quick playoff exit.
But a better draft pick at least

LOL
I would move the team to texas along with CSP if we lose Sunday

I still think they are capable of getting hot and winning it all. They have the quarterback and coach to do it.
A fire needs to be lit though, right now.

This thread is stupid on so many levels. Not surprised to see king Rex, master of negativity posting here. Y'all are a bunch of pussies. Gloom and doom, sky is falling, etc.

Dilumb thread. Of course i want them in the playoffs any way possible.
You think it would be next to impossible to beat the eagles in philly in the wildcard round and carolina at carolina in a divisional game? And potentially having a home game for the nfc championship? Granted its optimistic, but it would be possible

This is the kinda sh!t I read over on the falcons boards.
Thanks a bunch for bringing it over here!

I'd rather them in the playoffs under any circumstance than not.
It's like turning down a free lottery ticket because you don't think you have a shot at winning the jackpot.

Of course I want them in the playoffs.
Look how crappy the Giants were in regular season and then won the Super Bowl.
Saints can get hot in the postseason and win it all. It's not impossible.

We have two games left. We've been playing worse on the road as the season has progressed. If we stink again Sunday, what am I suppose to think?
And that makes me a bad fan to think that our performance on the road in the playoffs wouldn't be any better?

Right, and that's what people are missing about my post, because if getting embarrassed in St. Louis didn't light that fire, then getting embarrassed in Carolina won't either. That would basically tell me they don't have it in them this year.

Performance of one week is not indicative of it the next. That should be obvious by now.

No. It makes you a pussy because we lost a game we were expected to win so now you're pouting in the corner like a little girl with your lip stuck out. "well, if we can't win in Carolina, I don't want to be in the playoff AT ALL!"
Posted on 12/17/13 at 9:44 am to whodatfan
No, we've lost 3 of our last 4 road games, two in extremely embarrassing fashion. I watch every game. I read the quotes from Payton and the players every week. They said all the right things leading up to this past Sunday's game and got skull dragged.
Call me a pussy if you want. I still support them. I still watch the games.

Certainly, but what has been obvious this year is we come out flat on the road. I'm hoping they shake things up, nut up, and end the trend, clinch the #2 seed so we can rest some guys week 17.

How can you be a diehard fab and not want your team in the playoffs even to have a small chance at running the table?
Posted on 12/17/13 at 9:54 am to josh336
Some fans just do not get it... Yeah.. lets give up because we are the 3rd or 4th seed..
