So Kristi likes Auburn now? I guess she finally shut up like Gus wanted.
Pretty sure she has always liked the city. She has become pretty involved in several local groups/charities since she has returned. So yeah, she's appears comfortable here.

Don't lump me into that group. I said several times Saban was staying.

Yeah I'm not lumping you guys in with the "Saban lies" group. It's mostly the LSU crowd in here.

But y'all do have to admit that Kristi's feelings towards Auburn haven't always been warm and glowing.

She really likes the city. She didn't really like certain aspects of how things were run in the football program while Gus was OC, but all of that has since changed.

It's hard to respond to a shitty question. By the way how do you know the Malzahns? I assume you know them since you're convinced he is interested in the Texas job.

I thought she made some comments about the fanbase. It was kinda mindboggling that she would have made any of those comments, and the whole time she knew or should've known that Gus didnt want her saying that shite. I'm not trying to make an accusation, just an observation, but in that now imfamous video she came across as one of these house wives that has a substance abuse problem. How much spotlight does she get nowadays?

She made some comment about how intense the fanbase was a couple years ago. That can be said about any fanbase of any top program. The UT fanbase would not be appealing to her if ours bothered her.

The video that most saw was edited to make her appear worse than she is. She's got some crazy in her, but she's not batshit crazy. And the main reason she is out of the spotlight now is because of how embarrassed she was after the edited video went viral. She's pretty active in community organizations now, she just keeps it low key.

Those rich a-holes want to win . Remember too, they have good luck with gimmick offenses.

Gus to TX makes more sense than Chizik regardless of what insiders say.

Plus, women in TX are used to bring told to shut up.

Who runs a gimmick offense?

Cross your fingers and pray, little boy, that Saban's daddy leaves

Go look at my post history and see if I have ever said one thing about Saban to Texas. Ever. Please go right ahead and check. I'll wait.

AU's offense is less gimmick and more built on luck.

Saban wasn't interested because:

1. He's too old.

BULLLSHIT.......

quote:

2. Wife has moved too much and finally said enough.

This is not true at all....

. He has unlimited resources at Bama

Texas has MORE...........

4. He coaches at the pinnacle of college football.

Until he went to Texas....

quote:

I don't think they will offer him or he will go but none of those things apply to Malzhan so why would he not be considered a candidate for the job

Sounds like YOU are scared of GUS since Saban is staying................

Hope Gus doesn't leave. Watching Alabama win 49-0 was just too boring. I want a battle every year.

If Auburn loses that BCSCG and Texas still has not made a hire you best believe Malzahn is in play.

All we heard was Texas has more money than the Fed and can hire who they want...well Malzahn would not be as expensive as Saban would be.

He will probably be the National Coach of the Year by consensus and now has the rep of being a quick fix specialist. The boys that run UT want to win NOW...RIGHT NOW. Well here is their man.

There is just as much credibility in the rumor that Malzahn considers Texas his dream job and has sent back channel word to let them know he is interested as there was in all the smoke and mirrors put out as fact by UT people and posters here about Saban.

If Texas hasn't hired someone by the end of the BCSCG, it'll be because 2 names on the radar are Jimbo and Gus.

If that happens, Gus will most certainly be in play. Jimbo too win or lose.

Remember who Sexton represents. If it goes that far, it's going to get expensive for more than one school.

2. Gus approached JJ right when Pete Thamel's BS article came out and said the rumors weren't true and he wanted to make them go away and agreed to an extension without Jimmy Sexton present

There is your out folks. The bus parks in Pasadena.then its on to Austin.

If he ever wants to leave Auburn this is his chance.May not ever come his way again. After all Texas is home.
