I think Saban always intended to stay at Alabama but was going to listen to what Texas had to offer. That being said, no big time coach is going to touch that cess pool. Their boosters can't keep quiet. I still believe Alabama landed Saban in 2007 because our boosters weren't blabbing to anyone that would listen.
