re: If Saban Is Staying At Bama Why Hasn't He Signed His Contract Extension?

The last text said that Red McCombs went to meet with Saban last night and some details about the meeting. My Exxon customer/exec is also friends with an exec at Marathon... who is a Bama Alum. I do know that Marathon's CEO/CFO are in fact Bama/LSU Alum. The word from him is that Saban is NOT being responsive to anyone within the Bama exec admin. They have obviously been pounding him with calls but he isn't responding. Saban told someone in your athletic dept. that he is considering a "new challenge" & "change of scenery". Your heavy hitters/boosters are getting very nervous and demanding that the AD & Admin do something as they feel that Saban is possibly slipping away. They can't because he is keeping his distance. I have no idea how accurate this stuff but these guys are not joe blows off the street.
