If your boss laid a raise and extension on your desk, and you had another company offering more, would you immediately sign it? Not unless you are an idiot. You would leave it sitting there until your boss matched or came close to matching what the other company is offering. Saban knows what he is worth, so does Bama. Saban will give the silent treatment until Bama gives what he is worth.

If I was totally committed and decided I would never ever Leave (as most gumps say of Saban) and there wasn't another offer out there (once again something the Bama fans are swearing) I would and say thanks for the raise and sign it

Once again, the common consensus of gump nation is there is no offer and he would never leave Bama. His wife says they aren't going anywhere

And so does Texas. If it comes down to Money, Texas will beat you hands down and get to where Bama can't compete in the finance dept. no way Bama goes 10+ a year and I think Texas is just desperate enough to do it. Take into consideration the rumor of paying off debt, which by the way has some hard facts backing it up that it has been done, Bama won't compete.

It's either there or it's not. There are alot of Bama fans out there that have there head in the sand (no accusing you of being one) but a lot do and refuse to admit or see that there is actually something going on with this. The deciding factor is how desperate UT is to get back to winning and what they are willing to pay for Saban to make that happen.
