The only advantage HF teams should get is not having to travel, and noise when on D. Period.
Wait wut?????? The NFL history book should be thrown away just to please your monkey arse?????

But not every team gets to play in a cold place and use that as an advantage.
Its part of what makes the game great........

I go back and forth on what I think about the wild card rule. Makes regular season mean more but seems unfair to put a team with the 2nd best record on the road

I should give a frick about the NFL history book.. why? The league tries extra hard to make all the teams have a level playing field with salary caps, scheduling (making teams play teams who placed the same in their divisions the previous year), the draft order, etc., and yet they overlook this shite?

I don't exactly disagree with you.. I enjoy watching weather games. I'm just a Saints homer who is pissed off we lose in the cold because our team plays in a dome AND in a southern city where they can't even get used to the weather conditions they have to play in. That is completely out of their control, and it just sucks.

This is fine with me....

The game has evolved from something GREAT to something GREATER... You will some GREAT games from back in the day if you look[with an open mind]....

Sometimes.... Most of the time its the 3rd best record... But I agree......... No team that is 12-4 and be a wild card that has to go to a team that is 9-7 or something like that.

Love this idea.
It's interesting that it is not seen as an advantage for a dome team versus a team that is used to playing in the cold on a crappy surface.

Imagine how much fun it would be to watch a 12:00 game in September. No thanks

Yeah, titans cardinals Sunday was cold. Indoor would help attendance as well.

Georgia Dome > Superdome

I don't have time right now to read all six pages, but here's an idea if it hasn't been mentioned yet: a stadium with awning covering every seat, but the field under nothing but sky. It's the best of both worlds: football in the elements, and the pansy fans won't get rained on. Think Red Bull Arena, except an NFL-sized stadium.

65F in East Rutherford right now. I guess this settles it once and for all.

64 here in Baltimore. Oddly enough, there is no snow to be found

If there's one thing that message boards have taught me, it's that every single day either proves or disproves both whether global warming exists and whether a northern outdoor Super Bowl is a good idea.
Posted on 12/22/13 at 12:32 pm to ballscaster
I'm not saying the Super Bowl weather will be great or terrible. I'm making fun of people that have been shooting it down just due to a couple of bad weather games in the north. Could be great weather, could be bad weather. I'm cheering for bad to see the pissfit on this board.

This Saints fan can't help but point out that a Super Bowl in New Jersey poses a weather risk that pales in comparison to that of having a franchise in New Orleans.
I honestly don't have anything to say outside of that this post was pure quality.

My sarcasm meter isn't beeping. Should it be?
Fwiw I don't think a franchise in New Orleans or a Super Bowl anywhere at all is a problem.

No, I genuinely got a good laugh out of it.
