Is this a joke? LSU prints its own money??

Really tell me more.

LSU, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Purdue and Texas were the only schools to report no subsidy money in 2012.
Just 23 of 228 athletics departments at NCAA Division I public schools generated enough money on their own to cover their expenses in 2012. Of that group, 16 also received some type of subsidy — and 10 of those 16 athletics departments received more subsidy money in 2012 than they did in 2011.
I recall Forbes reporting LSU in black to the tune of a 45M profit.
I guess you're aware that the football program supports other athletic programs and certain academics also?
For all those so concerned with Miles wallet, note Saban's salary is actually funded by the state.

I'm in the majority that agree that Stud has to go. Looks like he will, and the writing was on the wall much earlier than any of us were thinking. He may have gotten lazy(er) on the recruiting trail because of that and it cost us.

Cam Cam has automatic raises coming, very well deserved. And I have no problem with LSU being at the top of the list. God forbid Chief was to go to another SEC school, and LSU is fricked with out Frank!

Our coaching staff is worth everypenny... except stud.. Notice Saban doesn't get Franks recruiting zone, but he has already got 3 from studs.

What do you expect when Les Miles is the head coach. Yeah I said it.

Take some from Stud and give it to Cameron. Problem solved. BOOM! I do expect Cam Cameron to rise on that list this offseason

Well, his contracted is backloaded so yeah. It automatically increases annually as is...

Bama spends 50% more ($36 mill) than LSU ($24 mill) or Texas ($26 mill) on its football program.
