if coach takes new job does he still coach in bowl game? also what becomes of the recruiting class. Since recruit knows head coach is gone but what about the position coach? recruit wouldn't even know who his new coach would be. Guess if he committed just cause he loved the school it wouldn't matter but think that is not likely the case in most situations. Recruits like the fit the overall picture which would be unknown if head coach left and took his assistants with him.

It depends on the coach, the school the coach is leaving to go coach, and where the coach formerly was employed. It can play out any number of different ways depending on the variables.

Its gone both ways in the past. Some coaches want to stay for their players benefit and the school is fine with it. Some coaches want to get to their new school and get things rolling ASAP.

Hind sight, I wish LSU would have told Nick to not let the door hit him in the rear after he announced he was leaving. I don't think a coach deserves to coach once he accepts another job.
