If this was the 1st year of 4-team playoff who ya got?

Id say 1 Florida St vs 4 Michigan St and 2 Auburn vs 3 Stanford

Sorry 1-loss Conference champs go over 1-loss teams.

Who does everybody else got?

Sounds about right to me for the same reasons.

In fairness, Stanford has lost twice, though.

I'd agree with that. Emphasis on conference champions, which I think the committee will do next year.

This playoff selection is gonna suck. You can't convince me that Bama isn't one of top 4 teams in the country.

I would favor Bama to win a playoff on a neutral field.

fsu, aub, mich st, baylor.

if you don't win your conference, you are not in. sorry - in my scenario you don't get two bites at the apple.

Actually, that's a miserable matchup for the Noles. MSU's secondary could slow down their offense.

Not having Bama in a 4 team playoff would make the playoff a joke. FSU, AUB, and Bama are definitely in there. The fourth highly debatable. I'd probably go with Stanford.

Stanford is not a 1-loss conference champion.

And you have no idea if that will be the criteria or not that the selection committee applies.

If I look at top 4 teams period (which to me inherently addresses whether you won a conference title or not as one the factors) I have FSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Michigan State

FSU Alabama in one semifinal, Auburn Michigan State in the other semifinal. This is to avoid rematches in the semifinal games, which I think the selection will try to do when possible. I dont think they will avoid a rematch at the expense of having the two best teams play in one semifinal though.

I get people arguing Baylor/Michigan State...they're likely butthurt LSU fans if they're arguing this, but there is a case that could be made at least

But Stanford? Who lost to USC and Utah? Please

4. Baylor

But of course Bama would get in despite not winning their division and not having a win over a top 10 team and having only one win over a top 20 team.
