i never thought he was going, so perhaps i can get a respose without bama fans getting in an uproar about it, but what was his current contract. my remedial understanding was he could stay as long as he wanted and had no buyout.
what does this change?

Then what's the point?

Does this mean that big12fan or whatever he's called will kill himself? God I hope so.

He gets more money per year and an extension
ETA: he doesn't have a lifetime contract

I asked that poorly. When did his current contract expire?

Just so we get this straight, this rumor is legit because it was brought to us by bama fans?

I just meant in the sense that it's far enough out that it's unlikley that he'd still be coaching when it expires.

2017 I believe
That makes sense then, i can see him coaching through 2017.

I really didn't think the Tejas think would happen and still don't--i still like to frick with some of you more gullible insecure frickers though

I could be one contract behind on that number.

Buy into Saban to Texas rumors
Get proven wrong
Call the people who told you were wrong the whole time, "gullible"

Bama could pay Saban 15MM per year and it would still be worth it, from a purely financial standpoint. The investment in Saban returns many fold every year. It's probably the best investment this University has ever made
laughable.

Not really. It's 50/50 at best. This is just an easy thing to say when you're wrong. It's a weak cop out that will be repeated over and over.
