It's been a lot of fun, but has also been frustrating at times. It's kinda like bowhunting, albeit not as demanding as bowhunting, in that I've had to accept some limitations I wouldn't have w/ a rifle. For example, there have been, and will continue to be, some shots I just can't get off because it takes longer to get set for the shot w/ a scoped handgun than a rifle. Plus, I've had to be very creative sometimes finding a support/rest in stands for my gun; freehand shots are not an option for me.

Seems like those things would have horrible recoil. How far are you confident shooting a deer with that thing?

As of right now I've only taken a doe with a pistol. I'd like for that to change though. That may be how I hunt for the next few years.
