No. Outback likes east teams and cotton west teams. I doubt your projection, but who cares? It's just an extra game.

Rematch from 04-05 where 1 second Saban lost it in the last second
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What a tough loss. Nothing like calling a safety blitz when the other team is throwing the ball as far as they can with no time left.

And then haul arse right after that, after saying repeatedly not leaving. Double gut shot.

you edited this after you posted this so sorry I missed this

so this throws a wrench in this.

So this could happen

Auburn wins goes to Sugar or BCSNC

Bama goes to Orange

Now Mizzou and USCe are tied with 2 losses each.

Mizzou won the East USCe travels better and beat a good Clemson team. But Mizzou will probably be top 8 best 2 loss team possibly.

So I say its a coin toss with the cap one bowl.

Now if the cap one goes Mizzou than Outback takes USCe and Cotton LSU

but if the cap one takes USCe, Cotton (what I thought wasn't possible but now with this new insight my prediction changes) must take Mizzou.

So now the Outback is next They have LSU (9-3) Georgia (8-4) Texas A&M (8-4) Vandy (8-4)

LSU is the obvious choice for this but does the outback pick a west team who never picks anyone from the west? Hmmmmmmm

I think aTm is out of this picture if the Outback went west they would pick LSU over aTm. I think Vandy while they have an outside chance probably won't go here, doesn't travel well enough. Georiga just had an impressive comeback vs Georgia Tech that may make this team intriguing despite not having Murray.

So While LSU seems like the obvious pick Outback may screw us and pick Georgia

so lets say this happens Well we screwed.

LSU will probably go to the chicken in this case which everyone would hate.

If we went to the Gator Bowl somehow the chicken bowl would want to pass on us if we are still there somehow.

Cap one has a large role in this season.

If the Cap one takes USCe than Auburn or Mizzou goes to Cotton, and does the outback take LSU or do they pass on us.

if we somehow fall to the chicken bowl I think we should reject the invitation and protest the bowl system. It would be crap if we somehow fall to the 5th best SEC bowl when we should be going to cotton.

Is the rule that they automatically get the SECCG loser or that they have to take them if they are still on the board, and not drop "below" the Cotton? If Auburn wins, the Outback would get the first shot at Missouri and they shouldn't even be there for the Cotton.

If Missouri wins, the Cotton would obviously want to take Auburn if they are passed by the Cap One anyway. Which would probably send us to the Outback since the East leftovers wouldn't be as attractive.
