ive told this story a few times on here so idgaf if yall've already heard it, but a buddy and i acted that scene out in AP US Hist in high school and a few people I hadnt seen in years told me that it was one of their burning memories of high school. felt pretty good. i let out some guttural ddl shouts

Wonderful movie. The pacing feels a lot like Kubrick's
2001. So if you can't deal with slow movies, TWBB might not be your thing.

Fantastic movie. But understand it is a character study rather than a great story.

It's probably not that bad of a thing either though. I think that the character exemplifies an animal competition that many of us have inside of us, even if it's buried. DDL's acting is a large part of what makes even such a grotesque character still be relatable.

I thought that it is a great movie. Being on the slow side at parts doesn't bother me at all because that sort of thing is right in my wheelhouse. Most of my favorite movies come together slowly with powerful undertones.
