No, the current rule is just fine. No need to operate a school's facilities on a non-school day. Home field advantage for the higher seed doesn't come close to being important enough to change how schools operate.

There is absolutely no way the Cajundome could host a football game. An arena field is 60 yards from goal post-thingy to goal post-thingy. A regulation football field is 120. Not to mention width and sidelines.
