Well, for most he's probably right.

Got a better reason? Ingram is running with intensity, not falling at first contact, hitting holes better (:inb4theoneplayhedidn'tlastweek:), and has been a solid rusher for us the last three weeks. There are no logical reasons to have KR take snaps from him right now, so that leaves us with illogical reasons.
You sound really dumb when you say that a fanbase doesn't like an under performing first round pick because of the school he went to.

Bet you also think he doesn't like Obama because Obama is black.

If there was a history of posts on the Saints board saying as much, I might.

Several posters here have openly admitted to not liking Ingram partly because he went to Bama. I'm not making it up, people actually feel that way.

Now that Ingram has had solid production the last several games, there isn't much to complain about. Unless of course you think like the people that have already admitted they think that way.

Right, that's why anytime any LSU player gets cut or becomes a free agent, a "Should we" thread gets started. It clearly has nothing to do with where the played college ball.

If Mark Ingram gets 10 carries, that better mean Pierre Thomas already has 20. And we're up two TD's.

If only people here didn't admit to it. Oh wait...

Aside from one carry with a huge hole vs sf, he has been as terrible as ever the last two weeks. That's probably just because those defenses hate Alabama though.

Yea, he definitely didn't have an 11 yard rush to set up the play action TD pass on the next play last week. Didn't happen.

ETA: And don't waste your time trying to make it sound like I'm saying he's played better than PT these last two weeks.

He hasn't been bad the last 2 weeks. Not great, but certainly not terrible. I'd still run Pierre more than him though.

Set up a TD on the next play, but don't let your Rantardness get in the way of seeing he's contributed a lot more the last few weeks. You're kind of proving my point right now.

Pierre Thomas
Mark Ingram
Khiry Robinson

Run all three of them into the ground Monday night. Put our foot down and don't let up. These guys can get it done, just don't abandon the run game and I know we can win this one.

Bree's should only get credit for half a TD.

I kind of like our chances doing what we normally do. We just need the running game to be effective when we actually do run it. Other than that, we need to let Drew do his thing.

Ingram has played well as of late, and Thomas has shown to be more durable when the workload is split. Thomas is not an every down back, and suggesting he gets all the carries speaks to your lack of knowledge about the team.

Or do you think we should just run Thomas til he gets hurt just in time for the playoffs?

your argument is null. We're doing fine where we are. Mark needs to just come in as fresh legs and if he gets on a roll early then we give him the ball more. It seems our MO has been give-the-ball-to-whoever-is-hot. And it's been working. 9-2. Keep everything the same.
