Do you think there are any recruits that are immediately worth a win?

To clarify, are there any recruits from the 2014 class that you think will make next year's team better in the W-L columns? Certainly there a lot of players that will play and make the team better but will any recruits have enough impact to single-handedly make the team one or more wins better than if we did not have said player? If so, who? And why?
IMO there are 3 guys I'd say this may be true for: LF, D'ahquille, and Speedy.
LF- kind of an obvious choice but he has the potential to be absolutely incredible for us next year. With a new QB we need to be able to run the ball effectively, and LF can flat out do it all at the RB position.
If Beckham and Landry are gone, the WR position could hold the key to our season next year because we are breaking in a new young QB.
D'haquille is an incredible WR, with his athleticism, size, speed, hands, etc. To have a WR that you can just throw the ball up to and know he will beat out the DB would bevery helpful to Jennings. He is the kind of receiver that is the difference between coming away with 7 points in the red zone or 3 points.
Speedy- chose him for one reason, he has the ability to catch a quick pass and take it 70 yards for a touchdown. If Jennings can throw make a quick easy throw on a slant route, hitch, a crossing patttern, etc. and have it go all the way for a TD, that would be huge for his confidence. Also, not sure if he would return punts/kicks, but if he did that is another way he could impact the game immediately by putting points on the board.
I think these 3 guys will immediately translate their ability into more points which will translate into more wins
. With that said, lets lock up these guys!
obligatory #Ride4Quille

probably only Quille

We generally run the ball well no matter who's back there so i would go with Quille as well.

hootie because our safety play is lacking talent and that's being nice about it.

I disagree Our offense scored plenty of points. The instant impact needs to come from the defensive side of the ball I don't think we regress a lot at RB from Hill and Magee and Hilliard to LF TM and KH. I think we definitely lose something there bc Jhill is outstanding but we could use one impact WR! a D'haquille but we need an impact Safety and an attacking MLB. Hopefully Beckwith steps up and CG gets on campus early and learns the system. The physical part he has already we just need Hootie or Paris to step in and be a game changing safety. Those are players who can turn games at Georgia and Ole miss into W's this season IMO.

Loston had a great game (okay - that pick was a gift, but still, he had a great game). I see flashes of improvement by Thompson, as well.
However, I would like a prospect to play significantly in 2014, and start 2015 and 2016 - Hootie looks like that recruit.
With Mike play having been *ahem* less than stellar in 2013, Garrett might also be worth a win - I think he comes in and starts before the end of 2014 and I don't say things like that lightly.

I have been hearing great reviews on R. Jefferson...Don't be surprised if you see he and Thompson as the starting Safety duo next yr...i'm "bearish" on Martin...

A case can be made for almost every single recruit. To me I feel strongly that "Defense Wins Championships." Having someone like a CG to be the QB of the defense would be something that could ultimately result in us winning a game. His alignments and checks for the D could "single handedly" get us a win.
Then you look at the ability for ANY of our DB prospects to come in and shut down the opposing teams #1 receiver. Look what RR did to Evans. That makes their whole offensive game plan adjust. So guys like Tony Brown, Adoree, Ed Paris, Jamal Adams, Hootie Jones, etc. THAT can single handedly win us a game.

CG and Hootie are huge

I only didn't put a safety on there because I think Jefferson and Thompson will start next year. Thompson has showed some flashes, and Jefferson played great on Saturday. I could see those 2 being really good next year. As far as CG is concerned, I sure hope he gets a ton of PT next year, I am just worried he will have to wait behind the current linebackers and learn the system before he is playing a significant role. If he enrolled in the spring, I would certainly have him on here.

Agree the defensive side will be much improved.

Quille, Fournette, and Garrett are guys that could have an instant impact on that level.

With the emergence of Rickey Jefferson's play at Safety does that changes how many DBs we need to take this year and maybe we can focus somewhere else

We already have Paris and Voorhies committed, and Brown, Adoree, and Hootie are for sure takes. I think Adams would also be a take. I doubt they slow down on any of these guys because of their talent and some of them may be leaning elsewhere right now.
