I do hope it's Cotton, but would prefer it be against Texas.

I read in a Nola.com article this morning that the Sugar Bowl had officials at the game. Anyone see this as a possibility, due to the fact that attendance at the past few Sugar Bowls have been horrible and having LSU would be a guaranteed sellout especially if they have to take a team like UCF.

I posted this in another thread but here you go. BTW post game furman Hanny was talking about LSU going at 9-3.

At large teams must be in the top 14. We are 15 right now. Get one more spot next week. Bama CRUSHES Auburn. Mizzou loses to TAMU. USC loses to Clemson. That leaves the Sugar with 10-2 off a bad ending for auburn with other loss to LSU. OR 9-3 LSU CLOSE TO NEW ORLEANS who will show up and buy concessions fresh off crushing rivals TAMU Arkie and shutting down Johnny football. They are going to have to take the non AQ team NIU UCF etc. so they will want to put butts in the seats. Best way to do that is to pick us. If we had beaten OM itd be a sure thing. As is.....Bama needs to crush Auburn and we still might not have a shot.......Im still rooting for auburn and take the cotton..

I would rather get revenge on UT than to play Baylor, but would be satisfied either way.

I think if the Cotton Bowl reps were being honest, they would love for one of the Alabama teams to fall to them. LSU is an attractive choice, but not the first choice due to their playing in Dallas to start the season. If Bama wins out, they're in the BCSCG obviously. Who would the Sugar take? AU, SC or Mizzou? If they take AU, LSU would go to the cotton. However, they might also want Mizzou.

If AU wins Sat., they could potentially go to the BCSCG. In that scenario, the Sugar isn't letting Bama go. If AU wins but doesn't go to the BCSCG, then they're in the Sugar. Bama is also going to the BCS. Does the Cotton take LSU or Mizzou? I say if Mizzou's 2nd L doesn't come until the SECCG, then they're going to the Cotton over LSU.

As you can see, still a lot to be sorted out over the next 2 weeks
