Not really because he's right.
At 2:03 the saints get a first on the throw to meachem which also def holding. The saints decline the penalty. The clock should start on ball placement. The ref blows the whistle to "start play" and clock doesn't move. We run it, and two minute warning. They still were able to stop it twice. Once after Pierre's run and once after Ingrams sweep left. Refs gave them the extra timeout at 2:03.

Unfortunately for the Saints, the penalty whether accepted or not resulted in the stopped clock. It's a stupid rule that favors a trailing team in that situation. It needs to be fixed, but the refs didn't screw up. Just a stupid rule.
