Saban does many things Miles doesn't do.... Discipline is primary but Saban runs his programs life an NFL franchise using all of the new cutting edge programs introduced to Belichick, etc.... Miles is just an average college coach with no imagination. Decent recruiter, but horrible coach .... He's had his moments but his time at LSU is almost over...

You are as good as your assistant coaches. MB over at UT had great teams/runs with great assistant coaches but those people left and viola...Miles will only be as good as his coordinators assistants. Miles/Brown/Saban cant coach everything like a small high school team.

Miles is probably the least imaginative, least innovative and least disciplined coach that has still enjoyed a modicum of success that I have ever seen. I think his luck is starting to run out with that, however.

I've been asking for years what his football philosophy is and how he has adapted his strategy to fit in with today's modern game, and still haven't gotten a clear answer.
