But now your Taylormade driver has a $40 fitting fee. So now your $400 Taylormade driver is really a $440 driver with $40 shipping, Would you just bite the fitting fee and lose $40?

What you pay and what an item is worth are two different things. If the tickets aren't worth $1000, noone will buy them.
