The Superdome as a baseball venue was a joke.
We had a minor league team in 76. Pelicans 2.0. It did not make it. And I forget if it's left or right field that was like 250 feet. Slight exaggeration, but not by much.
If the city would have pulled off the A's, they would have to have had a real stadium by the 1990s or else it would have been over.
