Facts about Les Miles (Alabama related) - Let's talk this out edition

Heard this on XM91 this morning on my NOLA commute:
Just thought I'd share. I'd love to hear one of you anti-miles "fans" call in to one of these shows expressing your opinions on Miles so you can get roasted.
quote:
LSU fans are REALLY calling for Miles' head?? LSU fans need to understand that Nick Saban is arguably one of the best coaches EVER. Yet, who is the one coach who consistently gives Saban fits? What team has the best consistent record against Alabama? Which victory is Nick Saban always relieved to get? Which game always makes Alabama fans nervous? That's right. Les Miles was able to turn LSU into a program that can compete with perfection. Let's say he gets canned. Who out there will be able to step in and continue what Les has going at LSU?

Coach Hud would be a decent choice.
Just sayin. Not anti-miles by any stretch.

Most of these stations would never let a "nega" go off in the first place..."oops...sorry...time for a station break!"
You should know this genius.

I've never seen Saban jumping for joy like I saw him Saturday. That was really something to see. I've only seen him happy a few times and it's always been when he beats LSU. He gets the most satisfaction out of beating us because he knows what a challenge it is IMO. He knew the kind of team we COULD be that's why he was so relieved and happy to get that win last Saturday. I wonder what his reaction was against Tennessee?

The record against Saban is a little deceiving. Yes, Saban holds a slight advantage with regards to wins, but you can throw out the first meeting since Bama was rebuilding in Saban's first year and Saban also destroyed Les when it counted the most. Les is a good coach, but to bring up his record against Saban is just something to try and fool yourself into thinking those two coaches are even remotely close as head coaches. Saban will be the GOAT, it just sucks that he is at Bama while Les is here. If he was in any other conference, nobody would be calling for Les' head.

no offense, but what does this have to do with losing to Ole Miss?

Can't really be that mad about losing to Bama or maybe not even UGA but the Ole Miss loss is mind blowing.

Used to. Miles blew it when he shite the bed on 1/9/11. We have lost the recruiting game since and now we are losing on the field. Les needs to lock up the in state talent the next couple of years to have a chance.

roasted? based on miles' shitting the bed annually against a team he should beat? or his performances in wins and losses? preparation? management? discipline? His record now against top 5 and top 10 opponents? backing into the NC in 2007? Quitting on his team on 1-9?
wipe your chin man, you have miles' sauce all over it. But keep making a fool out of yourself.

Thrilled we can make Bama fans nervous! Didn't happen in the '90s!

We've been outscored 80-34 in our last 3 meetings with Alabama.

There are dozens of coaches who could come to LSU and average 2-3 losses per year. That's not exactly spectacular.

I don't think Miles should be judged relative to the success or failure of any other program. He should be judged on his own merits. For example, Tennessee 2010. Miles made a mistake at the end of the game. The fact that UT made a bigger one shouldn't absolve Miles of that error. Works both ways too. If we play a good game and still lose, that shouldn't necessarily count as a strike against Les.

So what is the story or excuse for Dabo, Richt, Freeze? Bottom line is Nick owns Les. Don't pump your bullshite 4-3 record. Three in a row! Alabama owns LSU. Alabama will continue to own LSU not as long as Nick is there, but as long as Miles is at LSU.

So LSU's program is judged just on one game? Just because LSU matches up well with Alabama (even though they've lost three straight now) then Miles is good? What about his losing record to Ole Miss the last five years?

Miles has a better winning percentage against Bama than Cholly Mac. You can't hope for anything better than that!
