WOW, that's where you want to go, play what ifs? (The answer is yes btw) So let's play - What if the Defense gets a stop last year against Bama at home? or the Offense had gotten one more first down? In fact, just look at last year's game to understand just how close these teams have been. Bama pulled out the win and escaped GA for another championship. History could have been much different but for a couple of plays in the LSU/Bama game last year...oh so close.

This logic always cracks me up.
So it is unfair to tell it exactly as it happened. Saban was left with shite when he got to Alabama, but go ahead and count that first meeting, that still does not excuse the 21-0 on the biggest stage.

I literally detest our fan base.
I literally detest ignorant fans that keep struggling to find arguments to support their dreams of Les being equal to Saban. As I mentioned before, Les is a good coach, but Saban is the GOAT. Period.

Les being equal to Saban
NO ONE IS SAYING THIS. In my OP, I clearly point out that Nick Saban is head and shoulders above any other coach in the country.
So, why are we calling for the head of the coach that has had the most success against him?

Great, so let's count actual victories. 3. 3 of them. More than any other coach in the nation.
I swear, some of you act as though Miles-supporters are the jaded, head-in-the-clouds individuals, while YOU guys are the ones that dog LSU the entire off season, then crucify the team when they still perform above what your expectations were before the season. A sad life.

Stupid question and unrealted to this topic, but what does GOAT stand for?

LSU fans need to understand that Nick Saban is arguably one of the best coaches EVER. Yet, who is the one coach who consistently gives Saban fits? What team has the best consistent record against Alabama? Which victory is Nick Saban always relieved to get? Which game always makes Alabama fans nervous? That's right. Les Miles was able to turn LSU into a program that can compete with perfection
no offense, but what does this have to do with losing to Ole Miss?
Posted on 11/13/13 at 4:07 pm to Sev09
Can't really be that mad about losing to Bama or maybe not even UGA but the Ole Miss loss is mind blowing.

Hypothetically, if not, LSU doesn't get led to their best regular season ever the following year.
1. You have no way of knowing that.
2. Yay for moral victories.
3. If you can say that, then I can say Lsu doesn't go on to be the losers in the most embarrassing championship game in the bcs era.

The what ifs began when the retard that started this thread started talking about if A&M didn't have manziel. Redirect your anger to your fellow pumper

What about the loss total? That's at 5 now, correct? Where does that rank miles compared to the rest of the nation?

What do you mean act? It's the truth.

Used to. Miles blew it when he shite the bed on 1/9/11. We have lost the recruiting game since and now we are losing on the field. Les needs to lock up the in state talent the next couple of years to have a chance.

The record against Saban is a little deceiving. Yes, Saban holds a slight advantage with regards to wins, but you can throw out the first meeting since Bama was rebuilding in Saban's first year and Saban also destroyed Les when it counted the most. Les is a good coach, but to bring up his record against Saban is just something to try and fool yourself into thinking those two coaches are even remotely close as head coaches. Saban will be the GOAT, it just sucks that he is at Bama while Les is here. If he was in any other conference, nobody would be calling for Les' head.
I don't think its fair to throw out the first game. Its not like Shula didn't have NFL players. Might as well throw out the bcs title game since bama should have never been in it.

Really the coach of lowly ULL. WTF has he on his resume? I mean has he beaten Oklahoma or Okie lite? Or Kansas?
Houston Nutt beat Les Miles three years in a row. Should we hire him based on that little gem on his resume?

That's a beautifully ignorant statement as well. LSU is about to wrangle in one of the best classes in years, but people love to only look at the negatives and ignore the positives.

He was clearly talking about recruiting since the NC game, but either you conveniently ignored that or just are not smart enough to realize it.
Oh, and last I checked, Alabama is sitting atop the recruiting rankings yet again.

I'd love to hear one of you anti-miles "fans" call in to one of these shows expressing your opinions on Miles so you can get roasted.
roasted? based on miles' shitting the bed annually against a team he should beat? or his performances in wins and losses? preparation? management? discipline? His record now against top 5 and top 10 opponents? backing into the NC in 2007? Quitting on his team on 1-9?
wipe your chin man, you have miles' sauce all over it. But keep making a fool out of yourself.

Thrilled we can make Bama fans nervous! Didn't happen in the '90s!
